About L.A.P. Studio
I started L.A.P. Studio in 2025 after inheriting my mother’s sewing machine and realizing I could combine my passions for creating, antiques, and fashion. I have always been deeply drawn to historic objects, finding beauty in holding something that was made with love and cared for over time. Similarly, my fascination with sewing started young, after being taught by my grandmother as a child. Returning to it felt like reconnecting with something deeply familiar. Working with vintage and antique textiles brings these parts of my life together, and in many ways L.A.P. Studio feels like a quiet thread between generations.
That feeling shapes the work I create. Most of the textiles I use are vintage or antique and locally sourced, and I carefully repurpose them into new garments and accessories in my home studio.
I believe deeply in slow fashion and in clothing that feels intentional. I am drawn to pieces that clearly show the care and craftsmanship of the person who made them. Through L.A.P. Studio, I hope to create pieces for people who also appreciate clothing with character, nostalgia, and meaning.
If you have a special textile tucked away, I would love to help turn it into something new. I am accepting commissions and enjoy working with people to give heirlooms a second life.
Xo,
L.A.P.
